We will optimize your rifle or handgun with the right powder/bullet/primer combination to shoot as accurately as possible. Accuracy can be improved with custom ammunition for your specific gun for competition rifles as well as handguns.
For example, your 308 Winchester may need load development to decrease the extreme spread (difference between the fastest and slowest) on bullet velocity to minimize vertical stringing at long range. A 40 fps extreme spread on a 175 Sierra Matchking can vary by more than 12 inches vertically at 1000 yards. We strive for 20 fps extreme spread or less.
Handgun calibers for IDPA and IPSC competition can be tuned for accuracy and to meet certain power factors.
Loads can be developed for Cowboy action shooting (SASS competition) to shoot the same caliber in both your handgun and lever gun.
