FAQs

How accurate will your ammunition be?

Most quality hunting rifles, better than 1 inch at 100 yards is manditory. Most of the time the best groups come in at 1/2" to 3/4" at 100 yards.  In custom rifles, 1/2 MOA or better is common.

How much is your load work up and/or ammunition?

Each specific load has 4 components- bullet, brass, powder, and primer. Depending on what components are selected and used, the pricing can change. Call or email me for a quote.

Will the cost of working up a load specific for my rifle be worth it?

Most definitly. Accuracy and consistancy are the two best reasons for handloading. Accuracy will increase, and the consistancy between rounds will have tight tolerances load to load. All components can be hand picked and tailored for your specific use. Factory ammunition is limited to certain components, like bullet weight and type, and are made to function in any firearm in that caliber. Custom ammunition made for your firearm will find the "sweet spot" that your rifle likes to shoot as accuratly as possible.

How do I order more ammunition?

Call or email me the ammunition you need and what caliber and firearm it is for. I keep detailed records of the load used, and can duplicate the original ammunition. Save your brass and return it in good condition for a discount on reorders. The brass can usually be reloaded up to 5 times.
